History

There was a first version of the game released as a demo on Game Jolt. Some changes from previous versions are that Photo-Negative Mickey had some changes to his model. The second version that was released changed the main menu title, changed the Maintenance Hall camera and added hints to the game. However, the most noticeable change was the inclusion of GOD. She would've appeared at the right doorway near 6 AM on the third night, with no way to make her leave. This would eventually lead to a glitchy screen. Afterwards, the player was presented with a "See you soon." image featuring MickMick, thus ending the game.

The game would've used 4 mechanics, those being shutting off the camera, hiding under the desk, shutting off the power and a new mechanic, standing still. It's unknown which toons would've been affected by which mechanic but it's assumed Photo-Negative Mickey, Oswald and Disembodied would've been affected by shutting off the camera.

Trivia

  • This game was supposed to have a connection with Oblitus Casa 2018.
  • Abandoned: Discovery Island/FNaTI: Found originally inspired Nocturnum to create Treasure Island.
  • The original name of the game was Five Nights at Treasure Island: Rebirth, but in 2017 it was changed to Treasure Island as we know it today.
    • However, this game is in no way related to the current version of Treasure Island.
  • The game had an exclusive night – "Nibba Night". It was planned that this would be a joke, not related to the canon.
  • Willie was in the game all the way up until the 2018 version when he had to be eventually scrapped.
  • For a brief time in 2016 the main characters were called suits instead of toons, like in previous FNaTI versions.
  • Neither Pete nor Jeff The Killer were in the game.
  • DJ Donny was planned to appear in Treasure Island 2016-2018 along side Ravewald, however his model was lost.
  • This game's version of MickMick was a corruptus formed from Jake Smith's fears of the island.
    • This idea of MickMick was also going to carryover to the 6.0 version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, before MOTHER was created and the story was changed.
  • MickMick's design in Treasure Island 2016-2018 heavily resembles his design in Oblitus Casa.
