Treasure Island, (also known as FNaTI 6.5 for short) is an upcoming remake of the 2020 version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, itself being the official remaster of AnArt1996's original version of the game, created by the Radiance Team. It is inspired by the Abandoned by Disney creepypasta series created by Slimebeast.
This fangame is followed by its direct sequel and overall final chapter of the series entirely, Oblitus Casa.
Story[]
The year is 2003. Strange rumors have surfaced about odd occurrences regarding Disney's abandoned Discovery Island. Combined with the attraction's already sordid past, a small group of people is commissioned to investigate the validity of these rumors and hopefully lay them to rest. However, something has gone horribly wrong.
In a vain attempt to recoup their losses, one last intern is sent to the island to pick up the pieces of their research and recover what they can, but it quickly becomes apparent that this island is far from abandoned.
Summary[]
On Nov 28th, 2020, our team released the official version of Five Nights at Treasure Island. Despite its accomplishments, the game hasn't aged that well over time. Considering the legacy FNaTI has and its importance to both FNaF fangame and creepypasta history, we concluded that the only logical course of action would be to return to where it all began.
Don't think of this as FNaTI 7.0, think of it as a remaster of 6.0. We intend to build on the foundation of the 2020 game and turn it into something far better with our current skill set. New gameplay, models, and a more coherent story that ties into Oblitus Casa far better than the original.
Welcome back to the island, one last time.
