"Sighted as far back as Egyptian times, the Slender Man is an infamous creature that terrorizes children and young teens around the globe. Reports regarding the creature's appearance and behavior vary. Some claim they see it with a humanoid face, some say it has a disfigured face with orbs for eyes and exposed gums, and some report that it simply has no face at all. Some stories report that its victims simply vanish with no trace, others that they are found months, sometimes years later, impaled on tree branches with their organs placed neatly in a bag. The sporadic and inconsistent patterns and descriptions of the entity make it a nightmare to fully monitor or gain a full understanding of, try as some might."
Appearance[]
Slenderman is a humanoid, similar to a human with extremely long, slender arms and legs. It also has 12 long black tentacles protruding from its back.
He is wearing a white shirt, a black jacket, trousers, gloves and grey dress shoes. As the name implies, he looks very thin and is able to stretch his limbs and torso to an inhuman length. His face is pale and slightly ghostly, and it seems that it is wrapped in some kind of gauze or cloth.

Similarly to many games featuring him, he will appear in the Tunnels once the first page out of eight is collected, appearing in the player's path occasionally to attempt to kill them. As more pages are collected, he becomes more aggressive, to the point where he almost always appears with the player in the current room. The player must not look at him or go into the room he's blocking, and not stay in one place for too long.

Slenderman appears in the Tunnels once the first page out of eight is collected. He will appear in the player's way, blocking the path and adding slight effects on the screen (for example, screen shake or making the screen slightly monochrome). If the player stares at him for too long, Slenderman will kill the player. Differently to 1.0, Slenderman will also chase the player slowly. If the player turns away from the Slenderman, but stays still instead of running away, Slenderman will attack them in a few seconds.
