“ | Do you wanna see my head come off? | ” |
Photo-Negative Mickey is the main antagonist in the main story of Treasure Island.
Appearance
Gen 1
In his Gen 1 design, Photo-Negative Mickey, as his name suggests, is a photo-negative Mickey Mouse toon with most features of his Disney counterpart. However, he has some substantial changes. He is considerably melted and distorted, and has missing eyes. He has a white body and nose with a dark blue face, and wears cyan shorts with black buttons, black gloves, and blue shoes. He also is missing his tail. When Photo-Negative Mickey is seen in one of his rare screens of himself taking his head off, both the body and head are a separate part as such, taking his head off will cause his body to bleed thick black ink.
Gen 2
In his Gen 2 design, he retains his photo-negative aspect with a complete overhaul into his appearance. While not as melted and distorted aside to his ears, he does have visible dents in his body with a more lighter tone of white and blues, though slightly covered with yellow stains from aging. This version of his design also retains his tail for the first time.
Behavior
Photo-Negative Mickey becomes active on Night 1. He starts in the Mascot Prep and will walk around the building towards the player, taking a path through the Freezer or the Lounge, appearing at both left and right sides of the Office depending on the path he takes. When he appears in the Office, the player must shut off a camera. Turning off the lights also has a 50/50 chance to deter him. If the player takes too long, then Photo-Negative Mickey will kill the player.

Trivia
- The Photo-Negative Mickey mentioned in the "Abandoned by Disney" creepypasta and this Photo-Negative Mickey aren't the same entities. Creepypasta PNM is located in a location called "Mowgli's Palace" while Toon PNM resides on Discovery Island.
- In the creepypasta that Photo-Negative Mickey is derived from, he is known to take his head off to show yellow 'blood' coming out. But in actuality, the yellow blood is puke.[1]
- Photo-Negative Mickey is the only main story Mickey Mouse toon to have had a tail. His tail was only ever seen in 1.0, the very first version of FNaTI. The other toon to have a tail is Willy, who is exclusive to the Custom Night in this rendition of the game, and also currently has one.
- In both fan works prior to the official release of the game and works for all official releases of the game, the original, non-mascot versions of Photo-Negative Mickey have always been portrayed by AnArt1996, the creator of the first demo. This is due to fan work recycling Classic Photo-Negative Mickey's audio files.
- If the player stays on the title screen for too long, Photo-Negative Mickey will jumpscare the player and crash the game. This has been a tradition to include in FNaTI versions and remakes/revivals since the very first version of FNaTI.
- This version of Photo-Negative Mickey makes a cameo in Five Nights at Treasure Island: Anniversary Edition. He appears at the end of the intro sequence before the tape reverses.
- Even when he is inactive on the Custom Night, Photo-Negative Mickey will still be seen slouched in the Mascot Prep.
- Photo-Negative Mickey will always be the one to kill the player when the power runs out, even when he is inactive on the Custom Night (except during Night 6).
- Photo-Negative Mickey is one of the only two characters to have a power-out jumpscare, the other being Hourglass.
- The origin of Error Mickey and its name, comes from Nocturnum's comment when being asked on how to call that version of Mickey, which he responds that when the game is closed or when you put the "6666" code from Floor 3, that is when Error Mickey appears.

Classic Photo-Negative Mickey is a Custom Night-exclusive antagonist in Treasure Island. He is also the main antagonist of Classic Mode and the very first version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, also known as 1.0, created by AnArt1996.
Appearance
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey bears the appearance of Photo-Negative Mickey from FNaTI 1.0. He is a photo-negative Mickey Mouse suit that has a white body, nose and tail, a dark blue face, and black eyes with white pupils. He also wears cyan shorts with black buttons, black gloves, and blue shoes.
Behavior
Classic
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey becomes active on Night 1. He will start lying down in the Character Prep 1, before standing up and taking a path to the Office through the Lounge or the Meat Freezer. He will appear to either your left or right, depending on the path he takes. Shut off a camera. If the player takes too long, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey will kill the player.
Remastered 6.0
Classic Photo-Negative Mickey can be unlocked for use in the Custom Night after completing Classic Mode. He will start in the Mascot Prep and take a path to your Office through the Lounge or the Freezer. He will appear to either your left or right, depending on the path he takes. Shut off a camera. Turning off the lights also has a 50/50 chance to deter him. If the player takes too long, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey will kill the player.

Trivia
- Unlike his official counterpart, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey is a suit, not a toon. This is because the characters of FNaTI 1.0 were suits.
- In every one of Classic Photo-Negative Mickey's official appearances in the franchise from 1.0 to the official game, he is seen contorting his neck in an abnormal direction in a third of his positions in the cameras. This was due to the model not being rigged at the time the first 1.0 demo was made, thus resulting in Blender's "Edit Mode" function being used to move the head.
- Just like Photo-Negative Mickey in the official title screen, if the player stays on the Classic Mode title screen for too long, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey will jumpscare the player.
- Unlike his official counterpart, however, Classic Photo-Negative Mickey will send the player to the current night instead of crashing the game.
- While Classic Photo-Negative Mickey's face is normally colored dark blue in the Custom Night, in his icon on the Custom Night menu, when he appears in the Mascot Prep and during his jumpscare, it is colored teal instead.
- Similarly, while his gloves and eyes are normally colored black, in the aforementioned situations, they are colored dark grey instead.
- This is due to his 6.0 model using the textures of the Treasure Island 2016-2018 version of Photo-Negative Mickey.
- Similarly, while his gloves and eyes are normally colored black, in the aforementioned situations, they are colored dark grey instead.
- Classic Photo-Negative Mickey and his official counterpart have the most jumpscares out of all characters, both with a total of 3.

Photo-Negative Mickey is a Custom Night-exclusive antagonist in Oblitus Casa.
Extras Bio
"Photo-Negative Mickey is perhaps one of the most iconic enemies to ever grace the landscape of FNaF fangames, and easily the most iconic FNaTI character. He has been the face of the franchise for what is nearly a decade, and he and the story he originates from has become synonymous with Disney-based creepypasta and horror in general. AnArt1996 became inspired to create FNaTI after reading Slimebeast's Abandoned by Disney, featuring a similarly inverted Mickey Mouse creature. It should be noted that in the current story, Abandoned by Disney PNM and the FNaTI one are entirely distinct and unrelated entities. Despite this, the concept of Photo-Negative Mickey has left his mark not just on the FNaF community, but on internet horror in general."
Appearance
Photo-Negative Mickey retains his Gen 2 model for this game, and it appears in cameos and his renders for the Custom Night; he retains his photo-negative aspect with a complete overhaul into his appearance. While not as melted and distorted aside to his ears, he does have visible dents in his body with a more lighter tone of white and blues, though slightly covered with yellow stains from aging. This version of his design also retains his tail for the first time.
Behavior
Photo-Negative Mickey will start off-screen in CAM 8 alongside Oswald, beginning from behind the middle-door of the hallway, then will take his path into the Office through the left door. When he enters in the Office by making a big flicker light, shut off a camera when he steps inside to force him to return to CAM 8. If the player takes too long to do so in time, Photo-Negative Mickey will kill the player.

Trivia
- While being stated to not be in Oblitus Casa multiple times, Photo-Negative Mickey made it into Custom Night in Oblitus Casa, alongside Oswald.
- The image states that "Photo Negative Mickey is not in Oblitus Casa, at least not in the way you all seem to think he will be". This meant that Photo-Negative Mickey was never planned to be an antagonist in the main story of the game, but rather, a Custom Night-exclusive, which is where the "at least not in the way you all seem to think he will be" line comes from. However, it is unknown if it's rather him later decided to be a Custom Night-exclusive in development.
- This could also be alluding to his Shade counterpart.
