The Office is the player's room in Treasure Island. This is where Jake Smith spends the majority of his time on the island. It is connected to the rest of the resort via the Lounge and the Freezer.

Appearance

The Generation 2 Office is vastly different compared to its original iteration, with its geometry and texture maps having been improved significantly.

Several wires now dangle from the ceiling upon which a ceiling fan now resides, and the "Discovery Island" sign has been given a new logo. Curiously, a graffiti marking of Mickey Mouse's head is visible behind the sign. A water heater can be seen towards the left side of the room, and caution tape has been scattered around. Two spot lamps can also be seen pointing towards the doorways.

The player's desk now has two pin buttons, as well as a computer mouse. The pencils, notebook, and mysterious ink splatter have been removed altogether.

On the computer, there's a blue poster of a cat and the word "Believe!".

The Office consists of two doorways; one leading to the Lounge on the left, and the other leading to the Freezer on the right. Throughout the room, several metal pipes, various cardboard boxes, stockpiles of wooden crate pallets, an old television set, and a chair are visible. Numerous old papers, Disney posters, and a hammer also litter the floor, with the exception of one depicting Oswald on the left, and the other depicting the 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoon The Cactus Kid on the right. A sign with the inscription "Treasure Island" sits against the right wall.

The wooden desk at which the player sits has a telephone, a monitor with a keyboard, some pencils, a notebook, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, and a map of the island itself. A Mickey Mouse figurine wearing a yellow shirt with blue pants is seen on the desk as well. Curiously, a small splotch of an ink-like substance is visible on the desk in the center, and it is currently unknown where it came from or who it belongs to.

The room is notably detailed with a dust particle effect to add a realistic atmosphere when the lights are turned on.

Inhabitants

Only the player is inside this room. However, all of the toons, costumes, humanoids, and animatronics are able to enter and attack the player once in this room. The player has to defend themselves to survive through the night.

Trivia

  • Whenever someone enters the Office or moves in the official game, the sound of a chair sliding across the wooden floor of the room will rarely play. The byte sounds like a grainy, squeaky whistle and is played in a randomized number of rhythmic, short bursts.
  • The blend file of Gen 1 Office is lost.
    • Surprisingly however, beta version's is not.

The Classic Office is the player's room in the original version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, as well as in Classic Mode. This is where Jake Smith spends the majority of his time on the island. It is connected to the rest of the resort via the Classic Lounge and the Classic Meat Freezer.

Appearance

The Classic Office is very bare-bones in appearance compared to its other iterations. It consists of one doorway leading to the Classic Lounge on the left, and another leading to the Classic Meat Freezer on the right. The walls are made of what appears to be water-stained concrete. A Donald Duck poster and an old newspaper are barely seen lying on the floor.

Caution tape clutters the right-most wall, upon which an old poster depicting the 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoon The Cactus Kid resides. An old, rusty metal industrial pipe and an old sign with the inscription "Treasure Island, Resort Wear & Gifts" sit against this same wall. An industrial air conditioner can be seen against the left side of the room.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a mobile phone, a computer monitor, a pencil, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, a map of Treasure Island, and a 1960s button pin advertising the Mickey Mouse Club.

Inhabitants

Only the player is inside this room. However, all of the costumes are able to enter and attack the player once in this room. The player has to defend themselves to survive through the night.

Trivia

  • The mobile phone seen on the desk appears to be a freelance design, although the screen itself is a direct rip from an iPhone 5, which first released in December of 2012.
    • The design of the mobile phone's case is a reference to the 2010 superhero dark comedy film Kick Ass.

The Office is the player's room in the Remastered 1.0 version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, as well as in the first level of Memories Mode. This is where Jake Smith spends the majority of his time on the island. It is connected to the rest of the resort via the Lounge and the Meat Freezer.

Appearance

The Office is nearly identical to its Classic iteration. It consists of one doorway leading to the Lounge on the left, and another leading to the Meat Freezer on the right.

Like other rooms in this version of the game, a filter consisting of brighter lighting, stronger saturation, and vignette has been applied in an attempt to improve the room's appearance.

Inhabitants

Only the player is inside this room. However, all of the costumes and humanoids are able to enter and attack the player once in this room. The player has to defend themselves to survive through the night.

Appearance

In this version of the game, the Office has been given a complete redesign. Like its Classic version, a doorway on the left leads to the Lounge, while a doorway on the right leads to the Meat Freezer. The walls are made of decaying and rusted two-tone metal panels with wooden trim.

Like its original iteration, caution tape clutters the right-most wall, upon which an old poster depicting the 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoon The Cactus Kid resides. An old, rusty metal industrial pipe and an old sign with the inscription "Treasure Island, Resort Wear & Gifts" sits against this same wall, although one of its support beams has snapped, exposing wiring used to power the lights within and overturning a trash bin in the process. An industrial air conditioner can be seen against the left side of the room, and several television monitors are scattered about. An additional poster advertising Grenada Mickey Mouse stamps is barely visible at the back.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a computer monitor, a pencil, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, a couple of loose, stray wires, and a map of the island. The mobile phone and button pin from the previous incarnation have been removed.

Trivia

  • It, along with the rest of the rooms, were originally planned to be completely remodelled by PingProductions. These efforts were later scrapped after he had been booted from the game's development team, resulting in the model from the previous remaster being recycled.
    • A screenshot of what appears to be the original Office redesign was seemingly used in a teaser image on DeviantArt to promote the game's second trailer. According to the teaser, the redesigned Office would have used wooden panels for the walls as opposed to rusted metal. Additionally, the monitor would not be as weathered, and a telephone would occupy the desk.

The Office is the player's room in the Remastered 4.0 version of Five Nights at Treasure Island, as well as in the fourth level of Memories Mode. This is where Jake Smith spends the majority of his time on the island. It is connected to the rest of the resort via the Lounge and the Meeting Room.

Appearance

The Office has been given another complete makeover compared to its previous incarnations. A doorway on the left leads to the Lounge, while a doorway on the right leads to the Meeting Room. Similarly to its Classic iteration, the walls are made of water-stained concrete.

The right-most wall has a ventilation shaft with several stray wires strewn about, leading directly to the player's desk. These same wires can be seen across the ceiling. Industrial metal pipes, metal lockers, an empty bucket, and a Mickey Mouse-themed clock clutter the wall directly in front of the player's view. The left wall is adorned with more piping units, two trash cans, and what appears to be an intercom speaker next to the left doorway. An old sign with the inscription "Treasure Island, Resort Wear & Gifts" sits against this same wall. Television monitors and crumpled up pieces of paper are also scattered about the room, and pieces of the wooden floorboards are either missing or damaged.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a walkie-talkie, two pens, a notepad with a sketch of Mickey Mouse's face that can also be seen on a stray sheet of paper, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, and a map of Treasure Island.

Inhabitants

Only the player is inside this room. However, all of the toons and humanoids are able to enter and attack the player once in this room. The player has to defend themselves to survive through the night.

The Office is the player's room in all three Remastered 5.0 versions of Five Nights at Treasure Island, with its second iteration appearing in the fifth and final level of Memories Mode. This is where Jake Smith spends the majority of his time on the island. It is connected to the rest of the resort via the Lounge and the Meat Freezer.

Appearance

In V1, the Office has been redesigned using the Remastered 2.0 version as a template. As such, a doorway on the left leads to the Lounge, while a doorway on the right leads to the Meat Freezer like the original model. The walls are made of decaying and rusted two-tone metal panels with a red, rusty metal trim.

Caution tape clutters the right-most wall, upon which an old poster depicting the 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoon The Cactus Kid resides. An old, rusty metal industrial pipe and an old sign with the inscription "Treasure Island, Resort Wear & Gifts" sits against this same wall, although one of its support beams has snapped, exposing wiring used to power the lights within and overturning a trash bin in the process.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a laptop, a pencil, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, a couple of loose, stray wires, and a map of the island.

As with the rest of the rooms in this version of the game, bumpmaps and a filter consisting of brighter lighting and stronger saturation have been applied in an attempt to improve the room's appearance. A lens flare effect has also been added on top of the lightbulb.

In V2, the Office has once again recieved a makeover, using the V1 model as a guide. As such, a doorway on the left leads to the Lounge, while a doorway on the right leads to the Meat Freezer like the original model. The walls are made of decaying wood and scratched metal panels with a red, rusty metal trim.

Caution tape clutters the right-most wall, upon which an old poster depicting the 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoon The Cactus Kid resides. An old, rusty metal industrial pipe and an old sign with the inscription "Treasure Island!" sits against this same wall, although one of its support beams has snapped, exposing wiring used to power the lights within and overturning a trash bin in the process.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a pencil, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, and a Mickey Mouse figurine wearing a yellow shirt with blue pants.

As with the rest of the rooms in this version of the game, bumpmaps have been applied in an attempt to improve the room's appearance. In-game, the imagery is compressed using dithering and color reduction as a way to provide a similar feel to old, gritty 1990s point-and-click games.

In V3, the Office has been given a completely original model. It consists of two doorways, with hallways leading to the Lounge on the left and the Meat Freezer on the right, respectively. The walls are made of water-stained concrete and green, scratched metal panels with a black trim. Cobwebs, stray wires, crumpled sheets of paper, cardboard boxes, small chairs, and television monitors are scattered about the room and even past the wooden doors.

An old poster depicting the 1929 Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon Alpine Antics resides against the wall directly in front of the player, upon which an old sign with the inscription "Discovery Island, A Very Special Zoological Park" sits, although one of its support beams has snapped, exposing wiring. An industrial water can be seen against the left side of the room alongside several pipes and an additional poster depicting the 1929 Mickey Mouse cartoon The Barn Dance.

The metal desk at which the player sits has a small French fries box, a cigarette inside of an ashtray, a map of Discovery Island, another crumpled piece of paper, and a Mickey Mouse figurine wearing a yellow shirt with blue pants. Underneath the desk is a Disney Cruise travel checklist, Jake Smith's binder, a metal trash can with even more crumpled pieces of paper, and a Mickey Mouse doll. This same doll can be seen by the left doorway.

Inhabitants

Only the player is inside this room. However, all of the costumes and animatronics are able to enter and attack the player once in this room. The player has to defend themselves to survive through the night.
