— The tooltip for Night 4, referencing The Face and how the player can fend him off.
|
Description[]
Night 4 is the fourth night the player must complete in Treasure Island. This night introduces a character that is notably the first character (and the only one in the main nights) that the player must fend off by turning off the lights.
Events[]
Unlike the other nights, Jake doesn't receive any messages on the phone at the beginning of Night 4.
At the end of the night, another cutscene plays. This is similar to the cutscenes at the end of Nights 1 and 2, but this time the ominous figure from the cutscene after Night 2 will teleport from behind the bars to in front of the player close up, revealing itself to be a black Mickey Mouse silhouette. Once again, the screen shakes and the same droning noise can be heard as the cutscene ends.
Active Characters[]
This Night introduces The Face (whom the player has previously met in Pirate Caverns the night before) as a threat to the player alongside all the previous characters, which are more active. Like Acephalous, The Face cannot be deterred by shutting off a camera. Instead, the player must press SHIFT to turn off the lights whenever The Face appears in the Office. After a brief time, he will go away.
Strategies[]
As always, turning off the lights for 5-6 seconds, then turning them back on, is still a viable strategy for conserving power during the night. However, it is much harder to pull off due to how active the characters on this night are.
Also, if The Face and a 'camera shut-off' character enter the Office at the same time, the player may want to shut off a camera before turning off the lights for The Face, as it is usually quicker to perform the former action. However, if Acephalous and The Face appear in the Office simultaneously, the player may want to turn off the lights and stand still afterwards, as the player can stand still while the lights are off.
“ | Someone new is in the attic. He does not like the light. Leave him alone. The music will work on the creature that comes to your window. | ” |
