Turning off the office lights can save power. Be very careful with the switch, and don't stay in the dark.

— The tooltip for Night 1, explaining the mechanics for the lights.

Description[]

Night 1 is the first night the player must complete in Treasure Island. This night mainly serves as the player's prime opportunity to get accustomed to the mechanics of the game.

Events[]

The night starts with Jake recieving a phone call from Greg, alerting him of an inverted Mickey character that traverses the building through the use of sound, and that shutting off the cameras will create sounds that lure him away. He also reminds Jake not to mess around with the expensive equipment present in the building, before hanging up.

The player is treated to a cutscene at the end of the night, which puts them in the prespective of an unknown individual who is revealed to be in what appears to be a cellroom. The screen brightens up and starts violently shaking before the cutscene abruptly ends.

Active Characters[]

The only character who threatens the player on this night is Photo-Negative Mickey, and since this night serves as an introductory to the game, he isn't very active. He starts moving later on in the night (around midway through the phone call), only making about 2-3 visits to the player's Office.

Strategies[]

The most conservative strategy is to turn the lights off for about 5-6 seconds, turn them back on, then repeat for the duration of the night. The player will only really need to open the monitor to turn off the camera when Photo-Negative Mickey enters the Office, thus conserving power that would otherwise be used looking around on the cameras. However, most players should be able to get through this night without many issues, even without the use of this strategy.

Trivia[]

  • Greg's current voice actor is SilverStudio, but on rare occasions the player will recieve a phone call from Greg voiced by his FNaTI 1.0 voice actor, AlexanderComics. The dialogue also varies slightly from the normal phone call.

Your friends are dead. I am here to help you. The music on the cameras fools him. Check this notepad frequently.

Description[]

Night 1 is the first night the player must complete in Oblitus Casa. This night, as per usual with first nights, acts as the player's primary opportunity to learn the game's mechanics.

Events[]

The night starts without a phone call. Jake's main source of information is through the notepad, which in this night, informs Jake about how his friends are dead, that playing audio fools "him", and to check the notepad frequently.

During Night 1, MOTHER will always kill the player at 5:30am. This cannot be avoided, and mainly serves to introduce the player to the Post-Mortem minigame.

Upon entering Post-Mortem, the player is given a note with tips on how each of the Shades work and what the player's objective is, that being to collect all of the Mickey heads required. Upon collecting the Mickey heads, the player will exit Post-Mortem and get taken to the 6AM sequence.

Afterwards, Jake gets transported to the Tunnels, with something in pursuit of him.

Active Characters[]

Both Willie and Belial are active tonight. Considering this is the first night, neither of them are very active. They both start at the beginning of the night (around 12:30 AM).

The characters AI for this night:

  • Willie: 5

Strategies[]

The main strategy is to keep Willie in CAM 9, so you can see when he leaves. This is also the furthest camera he can be in. Keep erasing the drawing, then periodically check on the window.

Keep doing this until MOTHER kills you at 5:30 AM, then conquer the Post-Mortem sequence to finally complete the night.

Gameplay[]

Watch your flashlight battery. Use it too much and it will run out. The power can only be turned off once, use it wisely.

— The Note for Night 1, explaining how the Flashlight works and how the power can be turned off once per night.

Description[]

Night 1 is the first night the player must complete in Treasure Island: Abandoned Enigma. This night, as per usual with first nights, acts as the player's primary opportunity to learn the game's mechanics.

Events[]

The night starts with a phone call from Craig McLochlan, explaining how you need to collect data on the building for them while they wait for new equipment. He then mentions the rumors about a negative Mickey Mouse which wanders around the abandoned building, and if it wanders into your room to try not to make any noise, due to it being blind. He also mentions how you can turn off a camera to make a loud enough noise to lure it away.

During Night 1, only Inverted Mickey is active at a very low difficulty, due to the night being a simple introduction to the games mechanics.
