Chaos at Treasure Island, (also known as FNaTI Ultimate Custom Night) is a cancelled game in the official Five Nights at Treasure Island franchise and is a non-canon "trequel" to the first official game.

It was created by the Radiance Team as an innovative parody game. The game was cancelled due to it being a very ambitious project. The developers didn't feel like putting in the time to make it, as it would have been very tedious to do.

History[]

The game's development originally started in 2020. 39 characters were planned to be antagonists, and only 35 had mechanics planned. This even included characters outside the official FNaTI franchise, mostly characters from Malrat's fan made FNaTI fangames. The game was supposed to be canon, and according to Nocturnum, he and Malrat were working on it together. The game was teased on Malrat's GameJolt page that contains his old FNaTI fangames. The name was changed to morse code, the description to binary code and a teaser was posted. It's still unchanged to this day despite the cancellation of this iteration.

A new version of the game was being made after Oblitus Casa's release, and in a similar fashion to Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, the developers of Radiance Team had to make their third game a joke; non-canon, not taken seriously, characters having joke mechanics, "a story that was probably written by someone on cocaine," and much more. The first plans for the game was there to be 4 maps in the monitor that the player can access for more cameras to shut off, reboot, and more. It was later planned for the office to be an elevator, with 360° view and the ability to travel between two floors. The team were also planning for getting other modelers in the community to collaborate with them by making the rooms for the cameras, with Floor 1 as the finished concept. All 50 new and returning characters had mechanics planned as well as the summons, mechanics, and perks. On December 21st, a Twitter post was made on the Radiance Team account, describing the game.[1]

Trivia[]

  • During gameplay, there would be a chance for MOTHER/MickMick to bring in one random character to make the night harder.
  • The game would've also had death minigames like "FNaTI World", or a minigame recreation of IMSCARED NBD.
    • A remake of Blue Oddities would have also been one of them.
    • The player would've fought different Lockjaws as bosses in "FNaTI World".
  • Most of the game's soundtrack would've been copyrighted and stolen music.

Known mechanics from Chaos at Treasure Island.

The majority of the mechanics were revealed by Radiance Team in a YouTube stream.[2] Take in consideration some of the mechanics are still to be revealed, scrapped or never planned.
